SSSXXL, Collective housing
This school project was to create collective housing in an old neighbourhood.
This project is located on the border of a modern district but also of an old one.
The major constraints concerned the imperative safeguarding of the trees in their current state and the absence of large buildings.
The architecture has been divided into several parts and floors. This radial shape offers many viewpoints and all rooms are unique and original. An inner courtyard has been imagined for optimal sunshine and openness of space.
All the windows overlooking the yard have different angles to avoid facing each other between the apartments. The ones in Japan being too homogeneous, this project proposes a new image of a complex.
